• Backstory: Comes from Swakopmund, raised by his fisherman grandfather.

• Secret: He hides his insecurities with jokes.

• Strength: Fast runner, brave, loyal

• Weakness: Impulsive, gets into trouble easily

Located in the Namib Desert, near the towering Sossusvlei dunes.

A 3-week annual youth camp focused on:

• Vegan cooking & desert farming

• Animal conservation

• Herbal medicine from local Himba, San, and Herero traditions

• Survival training

• Community building

• Night safaris

• Cultural dance & storytelling

The camp is run by the respected Auntie Taati Nanjix, a tough but loving chef-monk with a reputation for turning shy teens into desert warriors.

But the desert holds a secret…

For generations, locals speak of the Okapika Spirit Beast, a glowing desert creature (mix of jackal, oryx & ancient folktale spirit).

It appears only to protect the land during danger.

Campers believe it’s just a myth. But Ama and Kavé will learn the truth.
